Confusion when google ask rate nature

Hello,

People like to rate everything. Immediately after birth little child got rated by apgar scale. Then becoming older little man get points in daycare, school, college etc… Starting from 4-5 years old, boy or girl begins to rate something by himself and after couple of years becomes a highlevel google expert. ) This behaviour pattern we use from the childhood till the end and enjoy strong point but turn on a blind eye on weakness. But I can’t understand how can we rate something that we did not create? I’m sure that people can rate everything but I’m not sure that appropriate and correct.

I like travelling and I’m the beginner local expert. Every time that google asks me to rate and choose how many stars I give to a river, lake, mountain or something like this I feel little confusion. What the difference between 1star and 5 star for river?

I checked some ratings for nature objects in my area. Average score for nature objects is 4+. But all negatives are about trash, bad roads to this places and other. Is this correct to rate river for trash that people made or roads that people not build ? I think not. I ask google to remove 5 star rating from all nature objects and left only opinions.

This is one of my favourite places

and I’m sure that someone gives 1star for bad road there )
