If you have reported the message already, you did the right thing, and a Googler for sure will check your report and will take action.
So there is no need to post here the screenshots. For everyone’s privacy can you kindly remove them from your post?
If you haven’t reported them yet, please do it ASAP. The procedure is the same used for reporting a topic: How do I report inappropriate posts on Connect?

Thanks @ShreyaMusings for expressing your privacy hurt by local guide.
Really it’s true shame on us because of very few local guide the whole community is embrace.
One way we are celebrating Women’s day recognise their efforts.
Another days the privacy of the woman local guide attacked by color remarks that too on connect.
I strongly condemned this act and request Moderator to save the respect of our community as this has happened in the past too.
Hence tagging few to prevent and strong action to be intimated .
@ErmesT @JaneBurunina @KashifMisidia @RosyKohli @Tejal ben @indahnuria @Sagir @Steave .
Kindly help to protect this female local guide from personal attack.

I responded already.
In this case using the report tool for reporting the message is the right thing to do, for the team to have access to it and to take actions.
In this way a Loca Guide do not need to expose herself for reporting publicly, taking in this way another risk.
That’s why I already asked @ShreyaMusings to remove the screenshots

I can understand @ErmesT how do you feel however this really hurts as we took lot of efforts to add , improve and enhancing our community a better and safe place for women.
As an evidence and proof that person must be exposed.
Yes she could have masked the id :id_button:.
That I will surely suggest her to do so in addition to report.

I fully understand what you mean, @Anil6969 , and I fully agree that it really hurts not only the persons who receive that message but the whole Community of the Local Guides, but violating our principles, and privacy is one of them, is not the proper way to act.
@ShreyaMusings did well by posting here because this will help to increase the awareness and will send a strong message that acting in this was is not acceptable for all of us.

Yes, all of them. Because publishing that ID can start a revenge action, and this should never happens.
Next Monday, when a Googler will check the reports, that person will probably be quickly banned, and he will know why in any case.
But we cannot decide that “sometimes” our own principles can be disrespected, because day after day this would mean no longer having principles.

Hope you can agree in this

My suggestions are:

  1. Report the issue using the method suggested by our respected @ErmesT
  2. Kindly Edit and Remove the screenshot so that privacy and decency prevail on LG Connect.
    Please be happy…we all are with you…

Lately, i been getting a lot of DMs from random men here on Connect similar to this. I haven’t reported it yet but i will now.

No one should accept silently.
But I fully understand that we may want to avoid a public post, and we would like to keep our privacy.
That’s why we should always report that kind of messages

I know, but they may become annoying, talk to friends, and so on, @ShifaAymal
By reporting them you help privately and almost anonymously to keep this community clean.
In this way you help also others that can be ashamed of reporting
In the previous version of Connect I wrote a post about that just to help everyone who was receiving that kind of messages, sometimes even worse.
This shouldn’t be tolerate.

Thanks for letting us know, @ShifaAymal indeed this will not be encouraged at all we respect your privacy and will try our level best to stop this with immediate effect as google policy also don’t allow for such personal attack.
I request you also to kindly report it immediately.
Rest #moderaor will take care
