I am Google Guide for several years now, always under the same name and this year a restaurant owner told you he doesn´t know me and so my review must be wrong.
What an easy way not to get bad reviews out of the list.
I would love to talk with Google about that issue but there is no telephone number to get.
I want to get my review online because I was there and I do know this restaurant for years.
If it is that easy for restaurant owners to avoid real customer reviews, than Google Guides is only a joke in which I shall not longer take part in.
Google Maps reviews are subject to moderation, which involves both automated and manual checks to ensure that reviews abide by Google’s rules and regulations. Making ensuring that the reviews displayed on Google Maps are as compliant as feasible is the goal of this.
The publication of reviews may occasionally be delayed due to moderation; alternatively, if it is found that a review violates Google policy, it may be filtered. Although the filters are usually quite precise, it is possible for legitimate reviews to be filtered or delayed unintentionally.
If you share the Maps link to the restaurant, and the text of your review in a reply below we might be able to help you figure out what you are doing wrong.
Keep in mind that it might not be something in your reviews that triggers the spam filter. It could be other aspects of your contributions.
Also, please specify which form you believe is no longer available.
Getting help from Googlers is not an option. You will have to deal with your peers. We might escalate your problem or suggest other forms you can use.
Hello @Andra As @MortenCopenhagen has mentioned your review may have words that Trigger Google to remove the view. This is just a guess but you used the word " Extortionate" which is a volatile word and which may have triggered Google to look at your review, and again this is just a guess. Good luck.
