I have been writing reviews for some time now and there are patterns I have noticed over time that I seem to follow when writing.
These are by no means exhaustive or the “best” option but it works for me so thought it might help others with there efforts.
I break my reviews down into 3 sections Intro, Look and Feel and Helpful info.
Intro
- Context - Why are you there? e.g Family day out
- What can I find - The kinds of activities/food etc that can be found here?
- What I did/had
Look and Feel
- Feel - How does the place feel to you? e.g Family feel, upbeat vibe
- What is different - What makes this place different from others?
- The staff - How where the staff when you interacted with them? If you can get there name and call them out for good work.
- Presentation - How was the venue/staff presented? was it clean? tidy? well presented? etc
- Quality - What was the quality of the product/service?
Helpful info
- Facilities - What kind of facilities do they have?
- Accessibility - Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?
- Helpful tips
I do not always use every subsection and some times I go completely off track, as I said this is a general pattern I seem to follow. In just hope it helps someone when trying to write.
