commenting criteria

commenting. I think this is something that should be taken very seriously. why? because a comment I will make will change the preferences of someone who will eat, maybe change the hotel they will stay in, or their tour plans while walking around the city. I think about all these while commenting.

My dear friend @ErmesT shared something nice in his last article. comments bought with money. I’ve shared a few articles about this before. Actually, people who are responsible and can’t think of their comments would never resort to such a trick. I am sure there will be good developments on this subject in the near future.

So what do I pay attention to before commenting somewhere?

First of all, I make sure that I write the comment in the right place. Because sometimes many businesses with the same name are added to the map. In such a case, I report them immediately.

Secondly, I try to write concisely. because long comments are sometimes long for me to read and full of unnecessary details. Therefore, I try to give the most detailed information with the shortest sentences. I pay attention to the scoring while writing the comment. Cleanliness, staff behavior and the quality and accuracy of the service provided take an important place among my most important criteria in scoring.

third and lastly, add photos. I make sure to comply with the rules of google in photos. I think what a first time visitor would like to see here. And instead of posting a lot of pictures, I try to use pictures that will arouse and promote more.

Yes, everyone has some criteria. These are my few criteria. What do you guys pay attention to? Share with us…

Thanks for this post, @Gezendunyali , clear and concise.

I fully agree with you, people rely on our experience, and we frequently choose a place where to go based on reviews written by others.

Reviews are a powerful tool and, is inappropriately used, may deeply influence the future if a business. This is what in a recent reply to the evidences posted by @MortenCopenhagen I wanted to define “a plague” and also the main reason why all the companion that provide reviews are fighting against this issue by developing automated tools, that unfortunately have some collateral damage.

If everyone starts to act like you, trying not only to deliver the best information but also reporting the fake or inappropriate ones, Maps would indeed be an even more helpful place.

Have a great evening

Great share @Gezendunyali my friend. I like what you wrote about being concise. Sometimes, I get a bit wordy on my reviews and I noticed those reviews often get flagged automatically and sometimes don’t get published when it’s too text heavy. Great idea too for focusing on the important criteria in your articles, and you reminded me of a good one that is often overlooked- cleanliness. Love it. :blue_heart:

Thank you very much @AZ_2021 . Yes, I sometimes see it in the comments. There are those who say why my comments are not published. I hope I helped a little:smiling_face: :pray:t2:
