Hello fellow Local Guides & Googlers,
My name is Andrew Ngui, I dedicate a lot of time thinking about how I can shape the future of education and life-long learning. Essentially, my work helps people overcome their mental barriers to innovate. My dream growing up was to be a food taster so I document my dining experiences on Instagram and on Google as a way to share my tasty pleasures with others visually.
Currently, I’m focused on deeply understanding comfort food: why we’re so drawn to foods we’ve grown up with, how such foods shape our social, psychological and emotional perspectives, and why food plays an integral role in some cultures more than others. It’s only been a short time since I’ve been on Local Guides and I must say I’m cautiously surprised by the number of views my posts have generated (Is this normal?) It would be great to meet other Local Guides from around the world and build upon each other’s experiences.
