Hello to all. My name is Artem and I live very close to Lake Baikal. Not ashore, but much closer to many of you. For a long time I believed that any other lake in the world looks like Baikal: the same nature, the same water and stones. Traveling around the world, I realized how unique Baikal is. Yes, every other lake, river or sea is beautiful in its own way, but none of them looks like Baikal. Baikal is not only a lake: it’s the mountains around and rivers with waterfalls, it’s a forest, it’s animals and birds.
I love Baikal, I want to preserve its nature. I am a couchsurfer and I accept good people from all over the world and show them Baikal. I believe that the more good people see Baikal with their own eyes, the more other good people they will tell about it.
Moreover, Baikal has more chances to preserve its flora and fauna, the purity of its water.
