Colorado Iconic Truck Stop

Must try #ColoradoIcon restaurant. Voted top 10 breakfast spots in the USA!

History in action! Opened in 1951 in the middle of nowhere, then I-25 began construction! I remember stopping with my mom and dad in the 60’s on our way to Wyoming!

The cinnamon rolls are enough for 4 to split and be full! Priced at $3.89 you will feel like you are enjoying pricing from the past! Try the small pies for $3.99 and don’t forget a gigantic donut!

The coffee is amazing and perfect memory of Colorado’s most famous Truck stop!

The omelets are fluffy and the chicken fried steak with gravy is the comfort food you would expect!

Check out the daily specials and leave room for the sweets!

The entrance and exit ramps are tricky so keep your eyes open! Exit 254

Carrie, I grew up in Denver, Colorado and went to school at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Johnson’s Corner was a staple in my away from home diet. Their cinnamon rolls were worth the drive first thing in the morning especially after being up studying all night. I still send friends and family to Johnson’s Corner every opportunity that I can to enjoy the cinnamon rolls. Good call!

Fun memories! Thanks for sharing your story! My husband and I attended CSU and stopped going back and forth to Denver!
