It’s really nice that you want to organize a Local Guides Meet-up in Cologne!
I think that @TorM can be interested in this Meet-up. You can see also his organized Meet-ups to get to know how to organize it.
But before that, I recommend you reading this post How to Organize a Local Guides Meet-Up which gives you helpful ideas on the types of activities you can plan and some guidance and tips for helping you organize a successful event for yourself and the Local Guides in your area!
@AlexM00dy super that you do this in Germany. The German community has still potentials. Maybe @JanVanHaver is interested as well. He is from time to time in this region.
Please organise via the official way, so I will receive an update and maybe something is possible.
Hello @AlexM00dy sounds like a great plan to set up a meetup in Cologne (and thanks @TorM for the tag). I will probably not be able to join myself, as I do spend a lot of time in Bochum (where I work) but usually not in the weekend. I do want to point you to a great post that has helped me a lot with the practical details of setting up my first meetup.
I also would like to use this opportunity to draw your attention (and that of @KueppersM and @JayRebel ) to another meetup that will take place in June, in Belgium: the 2nd European Meet-up. All of you are also very welcome to join (part of) that of course. It will be an excellent opportunity to meet other local guides - until now people from 9 countries have signed up (with 4 level 10 local guides and 1 Connect moderator amongst them).
I’ve noticed that your post has a German language label, so I removed it. If you want to know more about the language labels I recommend you to read the article How do I find posts in my preferred language?
