“Salisbury”, “Coffee”? Salisbury is a lovely little city, with arguably the best cathedral in the world.
While this epic piece of architecture does overshadow everything else in town, there are some awesome places to appreciate beautiful coffee, but you’ll have to walk ever so slightly out of your way.
The Yard
Arguably the best, definitely the most artisan of them all, is The Yard. This bohemian temple to coffee should be the first place to begin your coffee crusade.
The Warehouse Cafe
The next place on your pilgrimage should be this place. From a coffee counter stand point, The Warehouse Cafe underwhelms. It’s only when you raise your cup and sample the caramel nectar that you know this place is special. In 2021 it was, hands down, the best tasting coffee I had ever experienced.
Sonder
Do you want comfort and coffee craft? The lovely staff at Sonder will make sure you’re accommodated. There are 3 floors to this cafe, the top floor is a shared work space for those working at a Cafe-ers.
Other shout outs - The coffee at BTP on my visit to Salisbury in June 2022 tasted better than any other coffee I had sampled on my visit. They staff even managed to create latte art in my picollo with oat milk. Hats off to you good people.
