Coca Cola Museum in the Coca Cola World in Atlanta

My love for museums took me to far away Atlanta in faraway US last month.

Within the Coca Cola World is the Coca Cola Museum full of memorabilia from over a century.

The most attractive is this dedicated delivery van.

At the entrance of the museum is this retro bar with the statue of a bartender.

The various showcases of the museum are studded with marketing materials from over the last century.

Coca Cola was first launched in Atlanta as a medicine by a pharmacist.

Also on display are various bottles of all shapes and sizes.

More advertisements from at least 100 years ago took me on a nostalgia trip.

Amazing looking Coca Cola crates and vending machines are an eye-candy.

More retro style vending machines and dispenser took me down memory lane.

It is remarkable to note that the Coca Cola company has retained the same shade of red over decades.

I also noticed that Coke was sold for as less as 25 cents a few decades ago and the vending machines looked so cool.

Olympic games were help in Atlanta in 1996 and the Coca Cola company sponsored it actively, also creating some wonderful relay torches.

Badges, shields and more advertising stuff from over the centuries are on display.

The final and most wonderful exhibit was the wall that displayed various bottles within the Coca Cola family worldwide.

The Coca Cola world is an amazing paisa-vasool, meaning a bang-for-the-buck place to visit in Atlanta where everything is relatively cheap including its amazing Marta Metro train to the airport.

Where to Stay

I stayed at the Motel 6 about which I will write a separate post shortly.

How to Reach

From the hotel mentioned above, the Coca Cola World is walking distance and is less than a mile away.
Coming from the airport I think the nearest metro station would be the PeachTree metro station.
Read here how to take the Marta Metro Rail Service for less than $2 from the Atlanta station to downtown

Your post is really informative and has very interesting photos;however, the Coco Cola Museum came up to my expectations, dear @TusharSuradkar Ji… let me be frank with you…

The first two photos are really attractive.

“From the hotel mentioned above, the Coca Cola World is walking distance and is less than a mile away.” that was good…

Thanks for sharing these…

Thank you @TravellerG for the appreciation, very kind of you, since I frankly expect both praise and criticism from local guide of repute especially in the photography domain like your good self

I wanted to tell you that the lighting system inside the Coca Cola Museum was at best pathetic. It was almost a dark place.

So, whether they did that on purpose or was it a poor lighting jobs is still not clear to me.

All the photos were utterly dark, and I retouched them in Paint.Net, a free tool that is easy to use for a photography hobbyist like me.

I tweaked the brightness and contrast to the extent that seemed good to me.

The camera is also a low-end mobile phone, so I do not blame everything on the museum, but the same camera has taken some astonishing photos outdoors, some of which were even featured on Connect.

Also, my top priority for choosing a motel or hostel were proximity to the downtown where most of the tourist places are located.

I have almost never ever taken a taxi during my 3 weeks US trip to save money. I walked and walked for miles at stretch but saved every penny to visit more places. I will cover this in detail in a separate post - and of course tag you there

Thanks for rightly understanding my analysis, dear @TusharSuradkar Ji…

Even the exhibits ate not very exciting, at least for me.

Regarding the software, I suggest you to use Faststone Imagine Viewer, which is a Freewear - very simple but very efficient - just for your information…

Some mobiles are like that - they perform excellent well lit conditions whereas, they struggle even inow lights.

The Coca Cola Museum in the Coca Cola World in Atlanta sounds like a must-visit for any Coke enthusiast…! I love how they have preserved the history of the Coca Cola brand and showcased it through various exhibits. The delivery van and retro bar with the bartender statue seem like great photo opportunities. It’s fascinating to see the marketing materials and bottles from different eras and how the brand has evolved. The retro vending machines and dispenser sound really cool too. The fact that Coca Cola sponsored the Olympic games in Atlanta adds another interesting dimension to the museum. The wall displaying bottles from around the world must have been a visually stunning exhibit. I loved the cover photo very much. Overall, it sounds like a great experience and a “paisa-vasool” place to visit in Atlanta. Can’t wait to visit it myself…! Thank you so much @TusharSuradkar for sharing this great post.
