Closed retail storefront, but still in business. How to edit that?

A local business is still open, but they no longer have a storefront. Editing the business does not let me enter this nuance.

Specifics:
It is a landscaping supply company which still delivers products, but there is no longer a store you can visit. So Google Maps lists them at their former location, but they are not there (Something I wish I had known before making the trip.)

I don’t want to delete them, because the are still in business. However, Google Maps will not allow me to simply delete their address - it insists that I enter a new address.

How do I make the necessary change?

@n2y2 You are saying that they are still in business. Then my suggestion is to ask their address and update on the map because somewhere they exist. And if that is not possible I think you should mark it as closed. Because you have seen it is not there anymore. And if they have moved they will create a new listing.

@n2y2 Possibly the best answer to this will be in this link about service area business in Google My Business.

This is something the business owner needs to update.

Just quoting from the link above

"When updating your business information, you have the option of entering your address, service area, or both.

  • If you don’t serve customers at your business address, leave the address field blank and only enter your service area.
  • If you serve customers at your business address but also have a service area, enter both your address and service area."
