How in hades can I close my Google guide account??? Good has made this way too difficult!!! :person_pouting: . I feel that Google uses coercion to keep their user numbers inaccurately at a high level!

Sorry to hear you feel used. It’s a volunteer program, so of cause you can leave.

I have shared some tips on how best to leave the Local Guides Program here. It will help you understand the consequences and select which leave-method is best for you.

Hi, @CGGuy . First, I’m sorry to hear that you want to leave the Local Guides Program. However, you can always change your status in the program, you just need to visit our new opt-out page on your desktop or laptop and click on “leave”. You can get additional information by following this link: How do I change my Local Guides settings?
