Ambika Kalna is known as Temple City. Located on the banks of river Ganga. Ambika kalna or Kalna is a city in Bardhaman of West Bengal, India. Famous for its Terracotta Temples that attracts a huge number of tourists in the winter. Most of these temples have intricate terracotta ornamentation along with detailed stucco work.
In 1809 AD these 108 temples are made & dedicated to Lord Shiva. The outer circle contains 74 temples & inner circle contains 34 temples. These represent beads in a rosary.
