It is Turkey’s first open-air museum. It is a place that was built as a border castle in the 8th century BC to prevent attacks on the region.

In 1946, a German archaeologist Prof. Dr. It was studied in detail with the excavations headed by H. Bossert. Thanks to the cuneiform writings in this area, information about the region was obtained.
