Los Angeles, the city of Angel, it’s undoubtedly a worldwide famous tourist destination. And when we think of LA, what place comes to our mind? The no-need-to-describe Hollywood, the phenomenal La La Land featured Griffith Observatory, the fun and surreal Universal Studios, or the expensive Beverly Hills? I guess these all count. Today, the area in this article we focus on is none of the above (NO!), instead, it’s Beverly Grove. It’s not the famous Beverly Hill we know but is very close and just right next to it. Though it’s not a tourism area, it does have something unique. What’s that? Unquestionably, street graffiti.
Today’s location
Beverly Grove, a shopping district in Los Angeles, California, USA.
The story behind the photos
The day I explored Beverly Hill was a super sunny day and was my second day in LA. I arrived very late on the first day and were still adjusting the jetlag. I was so tired that could hardly open my eyes (or it could be due to the dazzling sun). The other thing is that my friend and I didn’t rent a car and the public transportation in LA isn’t convenient enough for tourists to get wherever they want, so we had to walk, walk, and walk. We walked over 27 thousand steps on that day alone. But it also made us explore the city better, after all, the more time we spend on the streets, the more local the experience’s gonna be. Also, thanks to the shining sun, the photos we took on that day were literally picture perfect and remained impressively not only in our camera rolls but also in our memories.
