For my birthday I went to Dubai with my friends. Dubai city is approximately 20 years old, I am so happy I got to experience such a beautiful place. We landed in Dubai at night, the view from the plane was beautiful.
Our first day we went to see Khalifa, a beautiful skyscraper with a total height of 2,722ft (828m) and a roof height of 2.717ft, it was an incredible experience to see.
On our second day we explored the city, we got a chance to see their culture, went shopping and saw Dubai’s fountain with jets and lights that were choreographed to music.
We went to the market place. Which was neat because you bargain or negotiate pricing, nothing is a set price.
Everyone is very sweet and helpful and transit was very easy to follow. Also, public safety is number 1 in Dubai so it was nice to be able to walk anywhere. They even have a car saloon, which showcased some amazing cars. Rolls Royce, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Ferrari to name a few.
We got to go to the safari where I got to ride a camel for the first time (that was so cool) and we had dinner in a camp while we were entertained by music and authentic Arabian dancing. We also got to see a fire show.
Dubai is a beautiful city, it was affordable and I would surely go back. If you are looking for culture or somewhere new to travel, I definitely recommend visiting Dubai.
