I am talking about my recent stay at Taj Cidade goa. Located at Vainguinim Beach with a beautiful view of Sea and other side colourful resort.
When I entered in the property it gives me the feel of old houses is goa. This vibrant building is designed by well-known Architect Charles correa in 1982.
When I entered from Main Arch gate I explored various areas with wonderful artworks on wall and sculpture of Vasco de Gama in lobby.
Structure of Cidede is inspired by typical Goan architecture and culture. While walking through pathways I felt like I am walking in to old chawls with hallways , elevated terraces , overhanging balconies and cozy green pockets. This feels a bit slower than todays era .
Taj Cidade is very good example of Correas timeless design and delightful blend of history and luxury.
