Church of the Good Shepherd

The Church of Good Shepherd on the shores of Lake Tekapo on the South Island of NZ is just a small Anglican Church (said by google) used various denominations. It built in 1935 as a memorial church to commemorate first local citizens that stayed around Lake Tekapo.

it is very iconic view for me… cause it often shown in background of laptop or computer.

So try to take a picture with same angle… hahahahaha but my mission fail for the night picture…

In fact… we have to more patient waiting a moment to take a picture this church… coz it is crowded… hahhahaahaha.

Hello @AdeHan ,

Thank you for sharing this great location and beautiful photos with us.

Was this your first visit to this place? What did you enjoy the most?

How far is the closest city or village from this area?

Hi @BorrisS

yup, that was the first time I come to NZ also…

The most thing I enjoy is driving experiences … I live in tropical country…never driving in snow rain…

and also the landscape…

There is a village or small city near that Church … approximately 2 km, or 20 minutes walk… that’s what I do to go there from RV parking lot.

The Tekapo Lake also have a nice view… not only the church…
