Church of St. George, Sofia, Bulgaria

Built by the Romans in the 4th century, this building is considered the oldest still standing in Sofia. It is surrounded by building constructed in the communist era, which are now used as governmental offices.

I’ve been there during the May holiday season.

Yeah, I visited Saint Aleksandar Nevski church, ā€œIvan Vazovā€ National Theater, Russian Church ā€œSveti Nikolay Mirlikiiskiā€ and other sights. Probably the best thing was eating at the vegetarian restaurant ā€˜Sun moon’
