Chucha (Chicken Roast) of Nathia Gali

Nathia Gali or Nathiagali is a hill station in Abbottabad District of KPK Pakistan. It’s located right in the middle of Galyat range and famous for its scenic beauty, different hiking tracks, chair lifts and pleasant foggy and rainy weather almost every day.

One of the famous dishes for this hill station is Chucha its form of a steamed roasted chicken which is marinated in crushed dried red chili, then its steamed and deep-fried in vegetable cooking oil. Usually, it’s served with fried red chili flakes and bread. Mind its spice level is way high for most of the foreigners but it can be adjusted as per request.

I think the reason for its being famous is its hot piping service and its spice level which compliments the cold weather of this street.

This chicken look very tasty and at the same very spicy. I’m not sure that I will handle the heat, but it’s great to know that they can reduce the spicy level.
