Christmas Caroling After Two Years of Hiatus #ChristmasInMyCity 2022

We should be grateful for the Christmas this year as our beloved world condition is much more better than the previous two years. In this year end holiday season, we could see that people is going to the domestic and international trip. The mass could be held directly in the church again. Christmas party can be held. Family could gather together. What a warm and beautiful season just like it used to be

It happens to me as well. I am a part of the choir group in the company where I am working now. FYI, my love for music, singing, and karaoke led me to be a choir member when I was in primary school and then it continues when I work now

Let me mention one of our karaoke master @KashifMisidia :studio_microphone:
In 2018 and 2019, we did the Christmas caroling for our company’s Christmas event. And then because of the pandemic that came in 2020, the Christmas event was held virtually in 2020 and 2021. We did not do the Christmas caroling that years.

Finally, after two years of hiatus, we come back again this year!!
Three songs has be chosen for the Christmas event. So far, this is the hardest songs ever! We have been practicing for two months started from October with our regular and great coach. We are so delighted and grateful to be able to deliver a beautiful performance. Even our coach said that he was trembling and almost crying because of our performance.
This is an unforgettable Christmas choir indeed!

We sang three songs as you could see in the video below. There are :
1. Rejoice in The Lord Alway
2. Who May Ascend To The Hill of The Lord
3. Star Carol

Are you familiar with all the songs or one of the song above?
What is your favorite Christmas carol?
Feel free to write in the comment below.

@Velvel Thank you for sharing about your Christmas this year and Christmas past. I love music too. In fact, when you mentioned Christmas carols, I was thinking back to the Christmas carols service we had on Sunday 18 Dec. I wrote a skit which was performed by a family with young kids that had different scenes that went in between the carols through the service. And my two favourite Christmas carols were Breath of Heaven and Mary did you Know. These two songs moved me soo much!

I’ll share a link to your post as well in #ChristmasInMyCity 2022

You’re welcome @MariaNgo

It’s good to be able to participate this year. Hope I could bring more beautiful Christmas story in Connect next year and so on

Would you like to tell a brief about the skit? Sounds interesting!

Thanks for sharing your two favorite Christmas songs. I’m listening to them while replying to your comment and browsing in Connect.

Btw, I always adore Pentatonix. They’re so cool and talented with beautiful voices.

Liebe @Velvel …
