Choosing Main Image for a Public Google List

Hi. I believe I’ve seen advice regarding a similar question before, but maybe the layout of Google Maps has changed since that answer, but I can’t get it to work. I’ve created a number of Public Lists and the main image for each List is selected automatically from images posted of that location. I’d like to select the image from those posted that most accurately reflects the List. Thanks for your guidance.

Hi @SimmoUK

We can still not select the cover photo of our lists. It seems that the selected image is often from the place you edited last.

There are suggestions to get this fixed in the Idea Exchange. You may want to give them a like.

Here is one of them:

Actually it is not possible to choose the “Cover photo” of a list, @SimmoUK

There are several ideas about an improvement, that you can vote and where you can comment. Here a couple of them:

Thank you! I thought that it was me being dumb! I will follow the link as you suggest!

Thanks, Ermest. I shall ‘like’ those suggestions.
