Chocolate kheer (by local google guide Shabnam arif)

hi everyone hope all are doing great :+1: .

Today its “SHABEBARAAT” . Muslims festival which we celebrate by praying all night to the almighty “ALLAH” and by eating any dessert or mithai . As we all know that due to lockdown we cant eat bakery sweets as its not that safe i decided to make chocolate kheer at home . Because first i love chocolate s or chocolate in any form (so only chocolate s are available in my fridge right now:yawning_face:  ) along with dry fruits

Recipe of CHOCOLATE KHEER

  • suji 1 big spoon
  • choclate dairy milk 20rs each ( or any available chocolate
  • dry fruits
  • milk
  • sugar 2 tablespoon
  • ghee 1 tablespoon
  • malai 1 tablespoon
  • oreo biscuits 3

marie biscuits 3

First of all take one hot pan and roast suji til it’s slightly golden brown . Than take one deep pan and put ghee in it once its hot put roasted suji along with few dry fruits , crushed oreo , crushed marie biscuits, sugar 2 tablespoons and 1 cup of milk and stir it continuesly for 15 minutes then put crushed chocolate and malai in it and again stir it for 10 minutes.
keep the kheer pan under the fan or over a ice cube tray for cooling

once it’s slightly cold put it in the mixer grinder and grind it for atleast 5 minutes or till the consistency of the kheer is mildly thicks and no lumps .

now take any try or tiffin of your choice put the kheer into it and for garnishing put crushed dry fruits and chocolate on it and keep it in the fridge for 2 hours

after 2 hours chocolate kheer is ready to eat

Have it with black coffee or green tea withut sugar

Hello @Shabnamarif ,

Wow, thanks for sharing the recipe! I love making sweet dishes, however, as much as I like to watch cooking shows, cooking itself is not my strongest power. Do you think this recipe can be converted to a vegan one?

@MoniDi

HI thank you for reaching out to me regarding this post of mine. Yea you can turn this dish and recipe into a vegan one as per your comfort and taste. Instead of milk one can use vegan almond milk

And cooking was never my forte but due to lockdown I m exploring this hidden talent of mine :joy:
