On a weekday, I decided to venture myself to a dessert store and have my own piece of chocolate ?
Famous for its imported European chocolate and New York vibe experience. I venture myself to Last Course, a trendy ice cream shop located in downtown Salt Lake City,
As soon as arrived, I was bombed with a variety of sweets, such as, strawberry nachos, brownie bomb, lemon stack, smoked maple bacon, rocky road, jewel cheesecake, banana taco, and many more !!!
"Uhm… All right ~ I want the German Chocolate Cake Ball ^o^"
The chocolate bomb comes accompanied with coconut & pecans exposed with hot caramel sauce; the concept was very fun because the cake is inside the big chocolate ball and you have to pour the caramel sauce over the top and it melts the chocolate revealing the inside. I loved the presentation!!
Initially the taste was very sweet but after awhile it felt short and dry, the chocolate was too rich and overpowered all the flavors, and the caramel sauce was not my favorite.
Overall, this place is instagram worthy lol and I thought this place is fun to visit either with friends or solo. Last Course offers free wi-fi and on weekdays felt quiet enough to read a book ?
