I had written an earlier post on Tea …especially the Tapri Chai!!! And what goes best with Chai is a grilled hot chilli cheese toast. The Chilli must be the green thin strong one with a distinct hot taste that stays with you after you have eaten and you have to reach out for the Chai.
The best chilli cheese toast was made by my Grand mom who added finely chopped onions to the green chillies and moserella cheese finely grated. Put this mixture on bread and grill in the sandwich maker. Delicious.
I have found a place in Pune called Chai pe Charcha and they serve amazing Chilli cheese toast.
Am I the only one going ga ga over this humble dish or you guys like it too ???
