Chihuly Glass Garden - Walk Inside a Kaleidoscope

The Chihuly Garden is an art museum and sculpture garden showcasing Dale Chihuly’s large, colorful glass works.

It is located adjacent to the Space Needle in Seattle where I visited in June 2023

The ticket must be bought separately and is not included in the Space Needle observation desk.

The entrance is not easy to find so I asked the security who pointed me in the direction of the entrance.

There are extremely colorful and creative exhibits, all made in glass.

To me the sculptures looked unreal and were worth every dime to see.

The place was not crowded at all since I reached there very early, at 10 am after climbing down from the Space Needle.

The glass work is absolutely stunning, and I could not take off my eyes for a moment.

Some glass items were practically incredible and every piece that I saw gave me a wow factor.

Looking at the glass objects, I felt like one big eye.

Walking through the exhibits I felt like being inside a kaleidoscope.

I was mesmerized by the brilliant artistry of Dale Chihuly’s glass sculptures, creating a dreamlike ambiance that left me awe-inspired.

How To Reach

The Chihuly Garden is less than a mile away from the Pike Marketplace, so I simply walked past 3-4 blocks to reach it.

It’s an extremely beautiful artwork exhibition @TusharSuradkar . I had read about this artist long back but this is certainly an extra ordinary work. He has really made great contribution in ancient blowing glass work technique.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Cheers!

I see… that’s interesting, @AjitThite - you knew this person long before.

I thought it was named after a Red Indian tribe

Thanks for your appreciation and encouragement, always :+1:

Wow… Super… Super…

Hats off to you, dear @TusharSuradkar

You did it… Amazing shots…

Colour objects extremely well captured. Marvelous!

Really admire the shots… Of course, I understand that they are well lit… Still, with “Chihuly Glass Garden” (I have not heard of this), you have mesmerised us.

Difficult to select one Best Shot… Still… the penultimate pic will be my selection (request you to kindly add #1, 2, 3 for photos, please, if possible).

Extremely happy…

Thanks for this wonderful post.

I am blushing @TravellerG though I do not deserve the praise.

As mentioned in another comment above, I do not consider myself a photographer by any means - just a casual click-and-shoot mobile user.

I do not even wait for a photo anywhere, just click as I walk, as a result of which many of my photos are blurred and I discard them later.

That is a nice idea about numbering :+1: will definitely update the post and follow this practice for the upcoming posts.
