The Chihuly Garden is an art museum and sculpture garden showcasing Dale Chihuly’s large, colorful glass works.
It has 3 sections:
- Indoor exhibits
- Ceiling exhibits
- Outdoor exhibits
On display in this garden is the brilliant artistry of Dale Chihuly’s glass sculptures, which harmoniously melded with the surrounding lush greenery, creating a dreamlike ambiance.
Whether you’re an art enthusiast, an architectural admirer, or simply looking to create lasting memories, the spellbinding Chihuly Garden outdoor exhibits with delight you.
I found that the Chihuly Glass Garden is not just a museum but experiential art.
As I walked through the exhibits, it brought about a sense of awe and excitement because I had never seen anything like it at this scale.
The gardens were immaculately manicured, and the artwork seemed almost an extension of nature.
The Chihuly Glass Garden far exceeded my expectations as I entered a whole different world of color and texture that was a mixture of fantasy and reality.
The best part of the glass garden that amazed me was the sheer scale and spectacle of the artworks.
It was just phenomenal and more massive and colorful than I had thought by looking at its pictures on Google Maps.
As I walked through the outdoor garden, I realized this was not a place I want to rush through.
So, I took the time to pause, relax, and enjoy the art piece. It was truly so stunning…!
The Chihuly Garden has glass art like I had never seen before.
The artist Dale Chihuly truly is a visionist and creator of magical pieces.
This last outdoor exhibit turned out to be a glass work and most visitors think it is a natural tree.
There is also a discount when tickets are purchased together for the Space Needle and the Chihuly Glass Garden.
The entrance to the Chihuly Glass and Garden is attractive and aesthetically pleasing.
At the end of all exhibits is a cafe just before the exit.
The cafe strangely has some massive collection of odd things like the harmoniums on the ceiling.
Here is a worm’s eye view of the musical instruments hanging from the ceiling.
Then a wall full of bottle openers. No one knows what they are doing there but nonetheless a great collection.
Another rack studded with radios and alarm clocks.
Probably they are all working models from the yesteryears, a collection of someone who was passionate about collecting them.
Finally, the gift shop that sells miniature versions of the glass work.
Note the strange collection of umbrellas above the checkout counter
