Chichén Itzá is a “World heritage site” and one of the 7 wonders of the world and it is in Mexico.
This pyramid was part of the Mayan civilization, it is amazing for the sophistication, intelligence, and relationship with the mayan calendar it has 365 stairs, each representing one day of the year, the four edges of the pyramid point in North, East, South, and West and on the autumnal and spring equinoxes.
I know each of four sides of the temple has 91 steps plus the step of the top of the platform for a total of 365 steps, one for each day of the year. But I don’t remember when it was built.
Amigo @Austinelewex I went there last year and I had a guid tour and I also learnt it in my history classes in primary school since it’s important for my country ;).
