Welcome to the first meetup of Google Local Guides in the great state of Illinois! We would like to invite all Google Local Guides in the Midwest to join us for a meet and greet at Cupitol in Evanston and we will finish three blocks away at the Merrick Rose Garden. The plan is to gather all local guides of Chicagoland who would be interested in organizing future meetups to plan how we can explore Chicago, its neighborhoods and suburbs. We hope to bring more awareness on Google maps, by going on photo walks, editing maps, adding places, in short creating awareness to help the people who either live or visit the Chicago areas.
