Chicago has one of the best and most diverse food scenes and kitchen to table scenery in the world. From deep dish style pizza to the Chicago style hot dogs, the taste of Chicago ( and that is actually also a name of a festival that we have every year and I’d like to invite everyone reading this to check it out) is always growing, developing, while staying as unique and authentic as the Windy City itself. In May 2015, Chicago hosted the " food Oscars" also known as the James Beard Foundation awards, and for no other reason than the inspiration behind the cultivating diversity of dishes, drinks and desserts in and around the city’s vibrant neighborhoods. From Gold Coast to Edgewater, Evanston to Highland Park, every neighborhood, in the city, and beyond, into the quiet suburbs, everyone has something to offer, something to recommend, whether it be the new spot around the corner with the line out of its door or doors, or the good old family traditions inspired hub, pub, and everything that might also be delivering with Grubhub. According to what I found on Quora, Chicago is home to an estimated 2.7 million residents, probably more than that to be honest with you, as kids are constantly born proudly in our hospitals, they are the future of this city and everything it has to offer. In order to feed the 2.7 to 3 million Chicago residents, in addition to the visitors we get on the daily, weekly, and monthly basis, the city offers approximately 10,768 restaurants, at least that’s how many restaurants offer reservations booking through Open Table, according to my search via Google. That’s A LOT. Having heard that number before, I as a proud community member of Chicago, but rather one of its night owls, do confirm that. In Chicago, people simply love to eat good food, whether it be while out with friends, family, spouse, date, partners in business or hobbies, a delicious, delightful, and glorifying choice for dining has always been an option that we agree to, when it comes to deciding on lunch, brunch, often breakfast, but always dinner plans with the bunch of friends or those who share the passion for food with you and me, and people like you and me. Every year, we have something new to try out, and when its good, you will hear about it. I will never forget when one hot summer, Bombo Bar has literally flooded my social media feed on every social media platform I was on. A simple dessert menu, but oh so yummy, as it is beautiful to look at. Just one of the many places I recommend visiting while in Chicago. Enough about sweets, as my mother would say to be, lets not get ahead of ourselves, and dive in deeper into the series of dishing in on the dining around the beautiful city that never stops breathing its winds through the skyscrapers, the parks, and the streets. The city’s loyal community, that is also its heartbeat, often generations of families working in diverse industries that makes up for this beautiful infrastructure, we stand as one when it comes to our city. We sit down as a family to eat at our dining destination of choice, whether that choice be based on cravings or a budget, I have never met a Chicagoan that didn’t smile back to me as they left a place of business in this town that served warm food, love, and passion through its extended hand reaching out to offer the best of what the hospitality industry has to offer. No matter what your choice may be in this town, I assure you, you won’t b disappointed. Just do your research on Google Maps, look at the photos, read the reviews, and learn more about what and where your next meal will be. I promise you, its a worthwhile guarantee. Chicago is just another word for " Lovely Hospitality ". Thank you.
