Chiapas Trip

In June 2015 we had the opportunity to take a 1-week trip as a family.
In it we try to make the most of the days of this short stay, considering the extension and number of places to visit.
The place we arrived to start the adventure was the capital of the Tuxtla Gutierrez state, a place that can be reached by plane from Mexico City or from various international destinations.
Already in the state capital we proceeded to know the nearby beauties, the first thing we did was rent a vehicle to start the adventure.
The first place we decided to meet during the morning was the zoo of the city to begin to know the fauna of the state.
At the end we decided to stay at a hotel in the city center and get to know a beautiful park called “Marimba Park” and take the opportunity to taste the traditional foods of the state.
The next day and after resting we headed to the sump canyon which delimits the tributaries of the mighty Grijalva river.

After taking a speedboat ride we proceeded to get to know Chiapa de Corzo, in this small and warm town you can buy multiple crafts.

Hi @marquezg

I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the Spanish language tag from your post as it’s written in English. These labels are used so that posts in different languages can be found more easily by Local Guides.

You can learn more about language tags in the article How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
