I like to be in very unusual places. Back in 2013, I was lucky to be on excursions in the city of Pripyat and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
I saw a nuclear reactor (from far away, of course), the abandoned city of Pripyat, radar radars, people working in power plants.
This city left a lasting impression on me. Here time stopped in 1986, in the year of the terrible accident.
Empty streets, ruined houses, giant trees tall with apartment buildings. All this can be seen with your own eyes.
I was also very lucky to see the reactor in its original form with the first sarcophagus, before it was covered with a new one.
My photos from this place became even more popular after the release of the Chernobyl series. Many people understand that this terrible disaster should never happen again!
