One of the main functions of the Republic Day Parade is to pay tribute to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the country and to confer bravery awards on military persons, citizenry and children for showing courage in the face of adversity. Hats off for this good remarkable event organized by the team members.

This invitation remembers my March-past parade during the Republic Day Parade Jan 26, 1990 as an NCC

Airwing Cadet from Tamil Nadu & Andaman Nicobar Islands Contingent. During that time

Hon. Venkatraman was our President and Hon V P Singh was our Prime Minister.

I feel such a proud to be an Indian participated in that event.

Seeing this Chennai Republic day parade invitation remembers those golden days…

But right now am in Canada and i miss this parade …But my Salute is always to those who

participate andHonour our Mother India during this memorable Republic Day January 26.
