It’s almost over a year since I have been contributing to Google Maps and the journey was amazing. Google Map has facilitated us in many ways including giving directions, finding places, best routes, sharing information like contact number, website; reviews and etc. Many of us pay a view to these before visiting a place or restaurant. I will share one of the side topics that I look for apart from the available information.
Google Map helps us to see the Amenities, Accessibility, Offers and etc. Like whether the place is good to bring kids or a group of people, whether I will have a wheelchair accessible entrance or not or is it an expensive place or not. This little facts or info does help me to decide whether I should go to the place or not, or even the place will fulfill my demand or not.
I would like to share an example like a few days ago I decided to visit a local Pizza place to try their items as I haven’t been there. But going through the page, it seems that the place is good for groups rather than dining alone. So, I took the pizza as Takeaway and enjoyed rather than holding a big table and waited at a group until I am finished.
This little facts about the place are really great and help me to take a decision quickly. I am sure other local guides are also facilitated by it too and this “encourage” me a lot to extend my support when I can. So, I try to answer these questions when I get into a new place, share reviews and ratings, thinking that it will help one of the local guide to take his/her next decision. Apart from these, the detailed review helps to get insight information like the service time, the behavior of a place or opening and closing hours of a place is really helpful to decide about visiting someplace.
