Boasting to be the top 10 coolest McDonald in the world, the Taupo branch is a decommissioned DC3 plane.
It has seats inside for dining. You can also see the cockpit thru a glass door.
We drop by every one or two years. The burgers or fries seem to taste the same with other branches. It’s just a unique experience.
A must for Taupo visitors!

That’s certainly a good landmark @OliverKIWI . I used to take my daughter there. I lived in Taupo for 4 years prior to leaving NZ 13 years ago.
