One new year’s, as many of us were travelling i was also one of you though i hadn’t planned my trip. I just decided on Jan’1 that i am going to start my year by going to ajmer. As ajmer has this famous Dargah - ‘Ajmer sharif Dargah’ that is a resting place of Khwaja Moin-Ud-Din Chisti. So, yeah i took the morning shatabdi and there i was in the holy dargah of ajmer. Dargah is just 1km away from the ajmer junction station. So if you like walking you can just go their by walking or you can take the cycle-ricksaw, and from their you can go to ana sagar lake that too is walking distance from the dargah. Then you can just go to the government bus stand and take the local bus from ajmer to jodhpur, as it is really cheap and you get to meet the local people and if you are in luck, the person seating next to you becomes your good friend and tell you the local places to go in jodhpur.
Note: When travelling take the local auto-ricksaw’s instead of cabs.
