I will be flying to Singapore this weekend. I’m having a hard time deciding which place to go especially what and where to eat as I have a tight budget as well. Can anyone recommend me please a place/s where I could eat authentic but cheap food that won’t cost me a lot.
P.S If you could also recommend places I should visit aside from the usual tourist attractions in the area. I only have 3 days.
Thank you so much to my fellow LG

Hi @Mariz2203
Singapore is one of the most expensive city in Asia. I’m not sure how much your budget per meal. And I don’t where you from. I’ve been to Singapore many times and for one meal around 5-8 SGD. You can drink tap water for saving your money, bring your own bottle. Tap water in Singapore is safe to drink, but most people can’t handle tap water. I’d like to eat Chicken Biryani in Singapore, the cost around 7-8.5 SGD, you will get a big chunk of chicken and fragrant rice. This meal is easy to find around Indian Restaurant. If you’re at the airport, there’s hidden canteen that sells cheap food. You can Googling about it with this keyword “Staff Canteen at Changi Airport”.
And for off the beaten path, you can visit Marina Barrage, it’s beautiful during sunset. Go to Haw Par Villa, a free park with scary Chinese myth.
Hope this will help you, and happy traveling.

Thanks @AlidAbdul . Your comment really helped me. I have at least 10-12SGD budget per meal. So I guess the food choices you suggested will really be of help to me.
