Changing the direction of an image

When I upload Street view 360 images some of the aren’t showing the original direction of how the image was taken and how I want it to show on maps. I try to go in the Street view app to where you can connect images and try to adjust the direction of the image but it’s not saving it when I hit the checkmark to save it. Is it possible to change the direction showing on an image I uploaded to maps?
