Hi Everyone, Can I change the name of a street? Here in Plymouth, England we have street named after a jailed paedophile and Plymouth City Council have changed the name from Howeson Lane to Bracken Lane.
Can I change it? If so how? Or the details could be passed on to a Maps professional

Nevertheless, you will have to provide sufficient proof to highlight the error.
Further, if the current name happens to be official, you have to take up first with the local administration to have that changed.

As mentioned, you can suggest a name change to a road through the “send feedback” option which you will find at the bottom right on the desktop version on Google Maps. Simply press it and then select the road you wish to correct.
If you’re using a smartphone, press your profile photo at the top right and the select “help and feedback”.
