Hi @MahabubMunna

Please include info on what you have done so far to fix the English name.

Please check the link you provided.

Have you asked the Owner to do it? He will probably need to select English on his device or desktop to be able to see and edit the English name.

Cheers

Morten

@MortenCopenhagen You’re not understand what I want to share in there. This is a very big food court. This present name owner change the name for more attraction his business. This is a kind of spamming if his location link check then understand better.

Thanks

@MahabubMunna

Then please fix the link in your post.

Thanks

Morten

Now I found it without using your link: https://g.page/ChefsFriendRestaurant?share

I see what you mean now. Sorry for not understanding at first.

Still, please report what you have done to fix it so far? Nothing?

@MahabubMunna

So this individual stall owner stole the listing for the entire Food Court without changing the category. Clearly, the photos and reviews are for the entire food hall and not just his stall. And he made a photo of his stall the cover photo.

I think it’s relevant for you to seek help on this in the Maps support forum. (GMB support is probably better as suggested by Ermest).

Please see this link to learn how to use the Maps support forum successfully.

Cheers

The link you shared doesn’t work, @MahabubMunna

Are you saying that a legitimate owner of the business claimed his business in GMB then changed the name of the POI to make it more appealing?

Does it means that the English name is different to what appear on the Storefront? Or simply that the English translation is different from the Bengali name?

If so, as the Business Listing is claimed, the issue should be reported on the Google My Business community

@ErmesT Yes as like that. This type of spamming now in there lots of people doing for quick publicity. As like shopping mall to their shop name. Food court change their restaurant name etc. Same thing happened in there. If you read or review then understand people are give review and upload picture about this food Court not this restaurant.

I cannot read the reviews @MahabubMunna , because your link doesn’t work. Can you please fix it?

@ErmesT Now you can try this link

Chef’s Friend

Or

Ok @MahabubMunna

Let me try to understand, because your fist post is totally unclear and the two link provided now are addressing to the same place:

  • Chef’s Friend is a restaurant inside a Food court
  • The owner of the restaurant also claimed the whole food court then changed the name to the one of his own Business
  • What you are asking for is to revert back the name of the food court and to remove the ownership, for violation of the GMB rules

Am I correct? If so, I am tagging @DeniGu to escalate the issue to the team

@ErmesT yes you are right . Chef’s friend restaurant owner change the " Food court" name .

And claim he is the owner but it’s actually wrong.

Hello @MahabubMunna ,

As @ErmesT said, I also can’t able to visit the POI with your provided maps link. When I am clicking, it shows : This site can’t be reached

Thanks for confirming @MahabubMunna

I know that the change of the name in the place is involving you emotionally, as you had a meet-up in there. However, a rational list of point can help more, as your technical side already know.

@KalyanPal ,thanks for confirming. The issue about the link has been clarified already in the conversation.
