I want to ask, how do I change the color of the badges in the profile picture?

If you mean the badge on your profile here in Connect it will change to represent your level, the different levels have different colours @Adie_Pulung

Hi @Adie_Pulung

With you current 5271 points on Google Maps you have just reached Local Guides level 7.

When you reach 15000 points your orange 7-badge will turn into the bright green 8-badge.

So changing the color takes contributions on Google Maps.

That’s an interesting query.

The badge in the profile picture displays a colour as per the level of that LG.

Here is a full list of that.

Level. Colour

1 Orange

  1. Green

  2. Blue

  3. Purple

  4. Red

  5. Pink

  6. Yellow

  7. Light Green

  8. Dark Blue

  9. Black

In this way, if you wish some different colour on the badge, you have to be at that level.

Going down would be easy, but no one will do that!

To go higher up, you have to contribute more.

I’m curious though, is this different per country or the same colours per level globally for everyone?

I’ve suddenly gone onto level 5, commenting on here but I was going to say I am still orange on level 4 so haven’t noticed a different colour for every single level. (It’s stayed orange)I like Mortans answer because it appears that way, staying orange until past level 7 -at least visibly on Google web reviews.
