So if you are planning to visit CHANDRANATH TEMPLE at Shitakundo, you must prepare yourself for hiking. Its an amazing place for hiking and those who love hiking. There are basically two temple. Second one is 50-60feet above from the first one.
The total height is 1020-1120 feet from sea level.
Chandranath Temple is a famous ‘Shakti Peeth’ (shrine) where, as per Hindu sacred texts, the right arm of Goddess “Seta”.
You may cost 450-550 BDT ( 6-7 USD) from Dhaka to Shitakundo Bazar.
Hotel cost is very low it may cost 500 BDT to above as per your choice (per night) ( 7USD- 20USD per night).
Food cost is fairly low but again its depend on your choice.
Here you find Lots of Hindu Temple as well as buddist temple.
Most of the people are Hindu here.
