Today I am going to take you all in a very offbeat destination of North Bengal and i.e CHATAKPUR
Chatakpur is a very beautiful hamlet located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal.
My story:-
We started our journey from the New Jalpaiguri railway station. Our narrow gauged toy train finally dropped us in Ghum railway station whichic is the highest railway station of India in case of altitude.
After reaching over there we booked a cab qnd reached our final destination Chatakpur in 2 hours through the wild beauty of senchal forest
But after reaching there the mesmerising view of the Great Kanchenjunga surely made that hilly hamlet the champion of all the hamlets that I had ever visited .
We took some photos and also enjoyed the camp fire organised there.
After that we had our palatable dinner enjoyed the tasty barbecue chicken and then to our nex destination TABAKOSHI.
So my trip ends here .
