#Challenge: Eyes soothing Lotus flower

भारताचे राष्ट्रीय फूल कमळ [Lotus] पाण्यात चिखलात उगवते पण पाण्यात असुन ही त्यांची पाने पाण्यावर तरंगत राहतात कारण त्याच्यावर असणाऱ्या मेणासारख्या पातळ थरामुळे.आकर्षक रंगांनी ही फुलं आपले लक्ष वेधून घेतात.

भारतीय संस्कृतीत कमळाला अनन्यसाधारण महत्त्व आहे.गणेश पुजेला कमळ केवडा वापरला जातो.महालक्ष्मीदेवी ला कमळ वाहीले जाते.

अनेक पाकळ्यांनी सम्रृद्ध फूल किती आकर्षक आणि टपोरे दिसते.तळ्यात , डबक्यात उगवणारी ही फुले अलीकडे मोठ्या पसरट कुंडीत ही लावली जातात.ही फुले बागेची शोभा वाढवतात.

हि फुले संध्याकाळी स्वतःला मिटून घेतात तर सकाळी पुन्हा उमलतात.

मखाने आपण खातो जे कमळाच्या बिया असतात तर कमळकाकडी ही भाजी साठी वापरली जाते म्हणजे कमळ फक्त दिसण्यासाठी नाही तर खाण्यासाठी ही वापरले जातात.

Lotusblüten auf Gewässern zu sehen ist immer eine Augenweide und auch bei uns beliebt.

Das diese Pflanze essbar ist, ist interessant und wusste ich bisher nicht.

Ich besitze leider keine Fotos dazu

Hi, thanks for the interesting post. Lotus flowers are truly magical. I’d like to share photos of the lotus, which were taken in Kyiv, my native city (before the full-scale invasion of russian aggression and terrorism in Ukraine).
