Chail Palace: The Royal Heritage of Himachal Pradesh

In the lap of Himachal Pradesh hills lies the charming little town of Chail, a hill station that sits between untapped greenery and the majestic grandeur of its historical establishments.

The grand Palace of Chail — an pride of the beautiful town and a glory for Bhupinder Singh, who was the Maharaja of Patiala — stands in the centre, boasting the grandeur of hundreds of ideas and the architectural engineering of doctors of the same time.

Topping the list of tourist spots in Himachal is this Palace, which with its pristine surroundings of dense forests and the heavenly breathtaking panoramic views, is truly an icon of royal luxury and grandeur in Himachal Pradesh.

The Palace of Chail is, without a doubt, the jewel in the crown; but it isn’t all there is to this place.

You can book rooms through the Himachal Tourism website and stay here. Room rates range from ₹4,000 to ₹25,000 per day.

The entry fee is ₹200 per person. Wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance are available.

Also, through its diverse plant and animal species, it is an opportunity that wildlife lovers cannot resist to watch natural beauty in Chail Wildlife Sanctuary.

Hi Tushar,

Thanks for your kind support.

All the pictures were taken by me, none were copied from the internet.

The kids’ pictures serve two purposes: showcasing Himachali dress and providing a playground for children. If you think this is not appropriate, I will remove them.
