Last week, during my short trip to the vibrant city of Pune, I had the pleasure of experiencing not just the local culture but also something even more special — a meaningful Chai Pe Charcha with none other than our beloved Connect Moderator @TusharSuradkar.

As soon as I finalized my travel plans, I reached out to Tushar ji who has initiated this #Chaipecharcha series, with a humble request to meet. Despite his busy professional schedule, he graciously accepted and made time for me. :folded_hands:

We decided to catch up at a quaint little spot called “Green Signal”, located on Apte Road, Deccan Gymkhana. A perfect venue for our tea-time talks — quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a long, meaningful conversation.

The Talk: Full of Insights, Smiles, and Ideas

Over cups of hot tea, our conversation flowed effortlessly. :herb::hot_beverage: We shared our thoughts on:

  • Contributions and their impact on the Local Guides Connect platform
  • Insights into how the platform has evolved
  • Our mutual excitement for the upcoming Connect Live Event in Bangalore

Tushar ji, with his characteristic warmth and wisdom, shared several invaluable experiences and ideas. It was a genuinely enriching experience for me — both as a Local Guide and as someone who deeply respects community-driven contributions.

We ended our 2-hour long chat with a feeling of camaraderie and shared purpose. For me, it wasn’t just a casual meetup — it was an inspiring session that left me feeling more connected to the spirit of Local Guides than ever before.
