Chai pe Charcha Resumes after Connect LIVE 2025

It is raining continuously in Pune, and local guides are loving it.

We are back from Connect LIVE Bengaluru and were missing the Chai :plus: Bun Maska of Pune.

Today was the perfect time to gather and reflect on the experiences at Connect LIVE.

@NERKARAMIT missed the event due to personal commitments. So we decided to update him on the celebrations and hand over the goodies from the Bengaluru mega meetup..

The first round of tea was at Abhinandan Chai on FC Road.

This shop probably has the largest jug of tea in Pune for INR 45 :heart_hands:
We thoroughly enjoyed it with bun maska or simply bread and butter.

We also visited a Fountain Pen exhibition in the nearby FC One Building.

This exhibition saw several small businesses ranging from pre-owned pen sellers tp pen-repair shops.

We explored several small businesses on FC Road and also at the exhibition.

After the exhibition, we gathered again at the iconic Niranjan Cafe and had the concluding round of tea.

The informal meetup of local guides in Pune on 27 September 2025 was a great gathering, where they recollected the memories of the Connect LIVE event from last week, exchanged gifts over chai, and supported several small businesses at a fountain pen exhibition by educating them about Google Maps and the LG Connect platform.

Thanks, dear @_aviralagrawal
Sometimes, we have to meet informally since Connect needs a 5-day advance notice to host a meetup.

@TusharSuradkar. Love the bit about fountain pens exhibition. I have a small collection myself

Thanks for this wonderful post on the Chai pe Charcha series, @TusharSuradkar ji. Congratulations to all the Connect Live BLR qualifiers and attendees!

Wow, it’s great to see a Fountain Pens exhibition with such a good collection, and amazing to see pen repairing shops as well. It takes me back to my school and college days, as I was a big fan of the Hero fountain pen back then.
