Chai Pe Charcha, Chats & Mapping - My Visit to Laxmi Rajwadi ☕✨

Sometimes the simplest moments create the best memories. Recently, I visited Laxmi Rajwadi in Vadodara with three of my friends, and over steaming cups of kulhad chai, we had our own Chai Pe Charcha. The best part? This place wasn’t even on Google Maps, so I added it! :round_pushpin:

:teacup_without_handle: Highlights

  • Kulhad chai at just ₹10, flavorful, eco-friendly, and pocket-friendly. :seedling:

  • Peaceful vibe with decent snacks and comfy seating, perfect for friendly conversations.

  • Authentic touch of earthen kulhads instead of plastic cups.

:seedling: Planet-Friendly Angle

  • Choosing kulhad over plastic cups is a small but impactful step.

  • Supporting local businesses by adding them to Maps helps more people discover hidden gems.

:white_check_mark: Do’s & :warning: Don’ts

  • Do try the kulhad chai, it’s a must!

  • Do add photos/reviews on Maps now that the spot is listed.

  • Don’t ask for plastic cups, support their eco-friendly practice.

  • Don’t litter; keep the space clean for everyone.

Moments like these remind me why being a Local Guide is rewarding, discovering places, supporting small businesses, and promoting sustainable choices. :globe_showing_europe_africa::green_heart:

Photos are good…
I would suggest more objects/place photos than Selfies/human photos…
Of course, Group photos in Meet-ups are welcome…

Hi @_aviralagrawal,

Thank you for sharing!

To keep Connect organized, I am removing the “Attraction” tag from your topic as it is not relevant with the topic you shared. The “Attraction” tag is great for stories that focus on tourist attractions, such as historical sites, famous monuments, natural wonders, amusement parks, and more.

Please note, using the right tags and categories on your topics makes it easier for other Local Guides to find what they’re looking for in the community.

Couldn;t agree more, dear @_aviralagrawal :handshake:

Kulhad Chai is both eco-friendly :recycling_symbol: :seedling: and tastes 12 times better than in a plastic cup.

Fabulous post with perfect use of emojis :+1:

Rajwadi Chai has gained popularity in Pune recently.
Originally, I thought it was a shop name, but recently come to know it is a type of tea as well.

Say Hi :waving_hand: to your friends?
Did you tell them about Local Guides Connect? :hugs:
