Chai pe Charcha at Cafe Good Day in Pune

On the way to the meetup in Pune last week, me and @AjitThite stopped at Cafe Good Day for our first round of Tea.

Sudhir Pawar joined us over Chai pe Charcha Tea Talks.

The cafe is of Irani style with their signature tea taste accompanied by Maska Buns.

The cafe was accessible and had both outdoor and indoor seating.

They accepted online payments though their cash counter sported a retro mechanical wall clock that needed key windings daily to keep it going.

After discussions around Google Maps, Volunteering, community contributions, and LG Connect, we parted ways with Sudhir and proceeded to the meetup.

Here’s a photo collage of the amazing logos created by local guides on the occasion of 10 Years of LG Connect exhibited during the meetup.

@TusharSuradkar sir I love the way you are editing and using the captured pictures. The shops tagline is rhyming to our theme “Chai pe Charcha” at “Chai Bun Maska”

That’s awesome, @TusharSuradkar!
Your cafe posts from Pune are really tempting me to try Irani chai :coffee:. That’s something we don’t easily find in Gujarat!

Yes, the Zoroastrians from Iran who fled from there after Islamic invasions settled mostly in Mumbai and Pune areas, so these cafes are in large numbers in these 2 cities.
